Statement made by Kam Yiu, Fireman of Down Mixed train on

the 24th October, 1937:-

The machine-gunning took place after the bombings.

I did not see any wheels on the planes, but I saw some small

boats under them, also some blue circles on their wings. I

saw some soldiers on the station and they were armed with

rifles; these were not mausers but long rifles. Of the two

killed, one was a soldier and the other a little girl. They

were not passengers. The train had only arrived at Nam

Sheh for about 3 or 4 minutes before the bombs were dropped.

Statement made to me today,

(SD) R.D.WALKER.

Manager, Railway.

25.10.1937.
